Santa Owl

I went over to my friend, Sherry's, on Wednesday night and we made this. This is so stinking cute!!! It is a complete CASE from Sherry. I thought I would share this since it is so cute and Christmas is coming soon. Oh boy! I am not sure if I am ready for Christmas even though it is my favorite holiday.

I survived my first week of babysitting the 2 year old girl!! Yay! It has been 18 years since my son was 2 years old, so it was interesting and fun. :) My son is now 20 years old and he turns 21 in Janurary!!

I am debating whether to go to poker tonight or not. I do love playing poker but where it is located at is 30 minutes away and I am not sure if I am up to driving that far afterwards. Poker will end around midnight to one am. I hate driving through downtown on the weekends because of the ever so famous 6th street in Austin.

I have plans to scrap and create stuff this weekend so hopefully I will have some stuff to post here on Sunday night or Monday. :)

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. :)

I am sorry

I'm sorry I have not posted anything lately. I just started babysitting this 2 year old girl full time this week and every night I was too tired to make anything. Tonight I am going over to a friend's to make something and I will post it tonight or tomorrow.

I went shopping last night and bought me a Martha Stewart scoring board and I am trying to understand it. I made a box so that part I understood, but using the triangle thing is tricky for me. I THINK I am getting it now.

My son's dog ate my cord that I use to download pictures from my camera to the computer so I cannot load pictures on my laptop, only the desk top and I do not use the desk top that much. I guess I will have to so I can download pictures and post them here. GEE, thanks Doobie!!

I am off to look in my Stampin Up catalog to order a few things. Have a wonderful day and again, I am sorry I have not made anything but I will tonight. :)

You guys are not going to believe this but yesterday I was chasing one of our dogs and I slipped!! I went down HARD with my right leg under me, causing a fracture. BUT there's more....on my left foot, my pinkie toe got sprained. Now keep in mind, that same toe was broken in 2004 from a car wreck! Thank goodness I did not break it again, it is just sprained and very swollen. I even had some of the toe nail broken off so you can see it in the pictures below.

Now, it was NOT funny at all when it happened! But now today, I am over it but I am in pain and it is a little funny now. I am sure the image of me falling looked funny. GRRR. The best part of the whole accident is my 20 year old son heard me fall. (he was asleep) He woke up so fast and ran to me, he looked SO terrified and he just helped me up and hugged me for a LONG time. That really touched my heart how much he cares about me. We have a very strong bond and a good relationship.

I know this isn't related to scrapbooking or stamping but I thought I would share since I am ok and not in bad shape. I am just limping for awhile.

By the way, the dog in the first picture is the one I was chasing. He seems to feel bad because he has been by my side ever since and won't let me out of his sight. AWWWW.

Baby Boy Onsie

I went over to my friend, Sherry's, and we made this card. Hers was for a girl and mine is for a boy. Isn't this so cute?!? It took a lot of work to make, especially the bear. Thanks, Sherry for this great idea.

My two caddies

I made these a couple of years ago and my cats had gotten into them and destroyed some of the flowers, so please just ignore the damages. The pictures do not do it any justice as it does look better IRL.  Thanks for looking. Please leave a comment as I like to read them. Thanks again.
